Safe Kids South Chicagoland

The University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital is home to Safe Kids Worldwide's South Chicagoland chapter. Safe Kids is the first and only international organization solely dedicated to preventing childhood injury, the number one cause of death for children under 14. As the area’s largest provider of care for kids, Comer Children’s is uniquely positioned to partner with local community organizations to offer resources and programs to help keep children safe across Chicago’s South Side and beyond.

We offer safety education courses according to age group. Courses range from 30 to 90 minutes and can be tailored to a specific audience. Some of the safety education courses we offer are listed below. For more information, please email us at safekids@uchospitals.edu.
