Directions by Car From the North
The Medical Center is easily accessible from the North via I-90/94 or Lake Shore Drive.
Kennedy Expressway I-90 and Edens Expressway I-94
- Take the Kennedy Expressway (I-90) east, or the Edens Expressway (I-94) east, southbound to the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/94) east.
- Exit at 55th Street, also called Garfield Boulevard (exit 57B).
- Turn left (east) onto Garfield Boulevard and continue through Washington Park, following the blue hospital signs.
- Continue with directions specific to your appointment location:
- To Comer Children's Hospital, 5721 S. Maryland Avenue:
- Turn left onto 57th Street and drive east for two blocks.
- Pass Maryland Avenue and turn right into the valet parking entrance.

- To the Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine (DCAM), 5758 S. Maryland Avenue:
- Turn left on 57th Street and drive east for three blocks.
- Turn right on Drexel Avenue.
- Turn right onto 58th Street.
- Turn right onto Maryland Avenue.
- The DCAM valet entry is to the left.

Lake Shore Drive (IL-41)
- Travel south on Lake Shore Drive to 57th Street.
- Exit (right) at 57th Street, just before the Museum of Science and Industry.
- Proceed on 57th Street headed south, around the museum, following the blue hospital signs.
- Turn right onto Midway Plaisance, and continue west to Cottage Grove Avenue.
- Turn right onto Cottage Grove Avenue, and continue with directions specific to your destination:
- To Comer Children's Hospital, 5721 S. Maryland Avenue:
- Continue north on Cottage Grove Avenue for three short blocks.
- Turn right onto 57th Street.
- Pass Maryland Avenue and turn right into the valet parking entrance.

- To the Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine (DCAM), 5758 S. Maryland Avenue:
- Continue north on Cottage Grove Avenue for three blocks.
- Turn right onto 57th Street and drive east for two blocks.
- Turn right on Drexel Avenue.
- Turn right on Maryland Avenue.
- The DCAM valet entry drive is on the left.

Parking
The main hospital parking garage is located at 58th Street and Maryland Avenue. Due to construction, Maryland Avenue is closed from 57th to 58th Street. Please follow the below instructions for parking directions to the Medical Center.
To ensure traffic moves smoothly, please do not use 58th Street to enter the Medical Center. Please only use 58th Street for exiting the Medical Center.

Medical Center Self-Parking
To self-park at the main hospital parking garage, continue to 59th Street and turn north on Maryland Avenue. The garage entrance is located on the left side of the street. Hourly rates apply. Please ask clinic staff for a parking validation sticker.
Valet Parking
Valet parking also is available in front of Comer Children's Hospital and the Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine (DCAM). Remember to ask clinic staff for a parking validation sticker.

To reach the Comer Children’s Hospital valet parking entrance, proceed east on 57th Street. Pass Maryland Avenue and turn right into the valet parking entrance. Remember to ask clinic staff for a parking validation sticker.

To reach DCAM valet parking, proceed to 57th Street. Turn right on Drexel Avenue. Turn right on 58th Street and continue one block to Maryland Avenue. Turn right on Maryland Avenue and then left into the DCAM valet entry drive.
