Breathing Easier: A Guide to Tracheostomies


The staff at Comer Children’s Hospital at the University of Chicago realizes that caring for a child with a tracheostomy is not an easy task. You will probably have many questions once your child goes home.

While this information does not replace the answers you will receive from physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, it will provide helpful information concerning the more common issues and concerns of parents.
