Unique Clinical Trial Protocols for Older Teens
Collaboration between the adult and pediatric cancer programs at the University of Chicago Medical Center expands treatment options for older teens who have neuroblastoma. Beginning at age 14, teens may be eligible to participate in clinical trials of new anti-cancer drugs currently under investigation for adults with other types of cancer. The University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital has special approval to allow older teens into these adult-focused clinical trials.
