Judith Popovich, DNSc, NP

Judith Popovich is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with experience in pediatric infectious diseases. She is also an Associate Professor Emeritus in nursing at Northern Illinois University.

Judith’s clinical practice and research focus on chronic illness, HIV and family coping. She is experienced in urban and rural health issues, and has conducted HIV research in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Judith works at the Pediatric Infectious Disease Clinic and at the Adoption Center. She has experience providing care to children adopted from foreign countries with unique health and developmental needs.
