The Comer Kids' Classic
Get your running shoes ready. It's time to start training for the 8th Annual Comer Kids' Classic 5K Run, Walk and Kids' Dash!
Comer Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago is built upon a rich tradition of excellence in pediatric care, deeply impacting the patients and families we serve. The hospital provides care for families as close as Hyde Park and as far away as China. Your participation or sponsorship will enable us to continue to provide the best possible care for all of our small patients.
Join us in making a difference in the lives of children who receive care at the forefront of medicine at Comer Children's Hospital. Contributions from this event will promote wellness, advance discovery and ensure our ability to provide the best possible care for our youngest patients.
The Comer Kids’ Classic is a USATF-certified, chip-timed race in beautiful Hyde Park. Participants can also walk the 5K course and there is a kid’s dash for participants 10 years of age and under.

- Registration and packet pick-up begins at 8:30 a.m.
- Race starts at 10 a.m.
- Kids’ Dash starts at 11 a.m.
