Ves Dimov, MD

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine

Ves Dimov, MD, is a highly respected allergist/immunologist, researcher, and educator. Dr. Dimov specializes in the care of children and adults with asthma, allergies, and disorders of the immune system. Currently, he is investigating new therapies for the treatment of asthma and allergic diseases. Dr. Dimov has been an investigator on more than 50 research projects and clinical trials. Additionally, he has authored more than 120 scientific papers, book chapters, interviews, and abstracts.

Dr. Dimov is known internationally as a founder and editor-in-chief of several award-winning medical websites and blogs for physicians and patients. He serves on advisory boards for several medical publications and organizations, including the New England Journal of Medicine and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI). Dr. Dimov was selected as one of "America’s Top Physicians" by the Consumers’ Research Council of America, most recently in 2010. He was also named to Key Professional Media's select listing of "Super Doctors."
