Kalyani R. Trivedi, MD, is a pediatric interventional cardiologist. An expert in cardiac catheterization, she uses small, thin tubes (catheters) to diagnose and treat congenital heart problems in children, such as atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, patent arterial duct, aortic valve stenosis and pulmonary valve stenosis. She also specializes in providing care to infants and children with critical heart conditions.
Dr. Trivedi believes in effective communication and multidisciplinary teamwork. Her ability to understand her patients' needs and concerns allows her to provide the highest quality care for patients and their families.
In addition to her research, Dr. Trivedi is a dedicated educator and mentor. She teaches residents and fellows about heart conditions in children and adolescents. She also delivers lectures at national and international conferences on pediatric cardiology. An accomplished author, Dr. Trivedi has written scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, as well as several book chapters on neonatal cardiology, peripheral pulmonary artery stenoses and cardiovascular interventions.
