Ernest E. Mhoon, MD

Professor of Surgery

An expert in the treatment of ear disorders, Dr. Ernest Mhoon has a vast amount of experience in treating general problems affecting the nose, throat, head and neck. He uses innovative implants for hearing loss and radiofrequency ablation and laser surgery for sleep apnea and other upper airway obstructions.

In addition to his clinical work, he regularly reviews articles for journals, such as the Archives of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has served on the National Institutes of Health's Scientific Programs Advisory Committee.

Dr. Mhoon is regularly listed as one of the nation's top doctors in several national publications.
