Foster Grandparents

Residents of Chicago who are at least 60 years old may be eligible to become foster grandparents. The program is coordinated through the City of Chicago's Department on Aging.

The University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital has several foster grandparents who help children on specific units as well as in the pediatric outpatient specialty waiting areas. They are here five days a week for four or five hours each day.
